Carrie Preston:Carrie Preston (Born. 21 June 1967) , American actress on both stage and screen. Carrie Preston also produced, directed, and edited. Her husband, actor Michael Emerson, and her brother, actor John Preston.
Life and Career Of Carrie Preston:
Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, artist and art therapist mother and geo-technical engineer father, Carrie Preston Young discovered his true vocation in the performing arts. At age 12, she became the impresario of his front yard of the company, as a producer, screenwriter, casting director, customer, director and actress. Carrie Preston later received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Evansville, after the current degree of the prestigious performing arts schoolJuilliard School. After attending Juilliard, Preston continued to work in the performing arts.
Preston worked with her husband, actor Michael Emerson, on a number of projects. Emerson plays Ben Linus on TV’s Lost and Preston was a guest star in episode 20 Season 3, The Man Behind the Curtain. She played Ben’s mother Emily a few flashback scenes, although she and Emerson did not appear in any scenes together. Emerson and Preston were both featured in the 2004 comedy Straight-Jacket, and in 2008 a feature film is ready? OK!.

Preston is the co-owner of the company for the production of Daisy 3 Photos by James Vazquez andMark Holmes .

Since 2008, Preston appeared in the current series of HBO True Blood, as Arlene Fowler .

She appeared in an early episode of Sex and the City, which is interesting considering the main character, Carrie Bradshaw and later marries Mr. Big, he took his name and become Carrie Preston.

On July 31, 2010, Carrie Preston and her husband, Michael Emerson (Benjamin Linus from LOST ABC) read R. Gurney, Love Letters, which was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Charleston Stage. They acted as fundraising for the theater in South Carolina. Readings are followed by a short and intimate Q & A session.
