Trey DePriest to announce Decision Friday

Who is Trey Depriest?: Trey DePriest, the linebacker out of Springfield South High School, will look to add to the Buckeyes already special 2011 Recruiting class. DePriest, 6'1'' 225, is a monster at outside linebacker and is a very good blitzer. He is one of the best at wrapping up and tackling overall. He can beat offensive linemen with quickness and good change of direction moves while putting tremendous pressure on the QB with a great finishing burst and then get the tackle for loss or a sack. The only thing he would need to work on would be his pass coverage. Since that's the only thing not great about this kid, expect him to focus on it during the season.

This coming Friday, Trey will announce his decision in his hometown of Springfield, Ohio. His decison is down to the final two, Ohio State and Alabama. This is will be a big key to beat a top SEC team at a recruiting kid, but it's also vital because he's from Ohio. We wish him the best of luck.

New York Yankees on verge of acquiring slugger Lance Berkman in trade with Houston Astros: sources

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Yankees are on the verge of landing slugger Lance Berkman from the Astros, according to two major-league sources, adding a powerful bat for the stretch run.

Berkman, a 34-year-old switch-hitting first baseman/outfielder, will provide another option for Joe Girardi in the DH mix, which has been a revolving door since Nick Johnson went down with a wrist injury in May.

The Yankees and Astros were still working out the final details of the deal, though the Bombers are not expected to give up any of their blue-chip prospects. New York will likely pick up a majority of the $7 million owed to Berkman, which includes a $2 million buyout of his 2011 team option.

Berkman, a five-time All-Star, had to agree to the deal thanks to his standing as a 10-and-5 player, having spent his entire 12-year career with the Astros.

Berkman is hitting .245 with 13 home runs and 49 RBI in 85 games this season, though he has a respectable .372 on-base percentage. Berkman won't solve the Yankees' problems against lefties, as he's hitting a dreadful .188 with one homer and four RBI in 64 at-bats against southpaws.

His home-road splits are also quite notable, as he's hitting .287 with nine home runs and 31 RBI in 45 home games, numbers that drop to .194, 4 and 18 in 40 games away from Minute Maid Park.

Berkman has only played first base during the past three seasons, so it's unlikely that the Yankees will use him in the outfield despite his 801 career games out there.

'Jersey Shore's' Snooki arrested

SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J. — Reality television star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi was taken into custody Friday afternoon for disorderly conduct, police confirmed.

According to Police Chief Thomas J. Boyd, Polizzi, a member of the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore, was taken to the police station about 3:30 p.m., where she faces being charged with disorderly conduct. Boyd would not provide further information at this time.

Jersey Shore is currently taping its third season here. The cast of the show spent the spring in Florida to shoot season two. The premiere of that season last night on MTV drew 5.3 million viewers, according to ratings firm Nielsen.

Borough Administrator John A. Camera said that beachgoers were complaining this afternoon about a disorderly person, which turned out to be Polizzi, who they said was falling on other people and bothering them.

When police confronted her about the behavior, Polizzi was indignant enough to warrant being locked up in the Seaside Heights jail, Camera said. He emphasized that she was not arrested.

"It really is true, and has been proven — whether it's a show or not," he said. "When people misbehave in public, it's the same: The police expeditiously end their bad behavior so all the good people can enjoy their time."

A representative of MTV declined to comment.

On Thursday, Camera released a statement on behalf of borough officials, stating the show has brought in millions of dollars and an influx of business.

However, he said the Borough Council "wants it to be known that they do not condone discriminatory remarks against Italian Americans or anyone else, domestic violence and/or the promiscuous and otherwise bad behavior sometimes portrayed on the show."

"The cast of this show are not indicative of the majority of those who visit and enjoy the Jersey shore and Seaside Heights every summer," he continued in the release.

Camera said Friday the cast and crew of Jersey Shore have cooperated with the borough and hired off-duty police officers for extra security to handle the crowds.

"Last year they were able to film without much security or notoriety," he said. "Our police department is there to handle the situation and make sure nobody feels threatened or uncomfortable in Seaside Heights.

Earlier Friday, Snooki was partying on the beach with a beer bong, only she was filling it up with Coca-Cola, the celebrity gossip website TMZ.com said.

"We're told she was also seen at a local bar taking 'body shots,' " the site said.

Simon Cowell, Ryan Seacrest React To Ellen's 'American Idol' Exit

Fans and bloggers aren't the only ones sharing their reactions to the news that Ellen DeGeneres is leaving "American Idol" after just one season. Fellow departed judge Simon Cowell and current host Ryan Seacrest have also revealed their feelings about the news.

Cowell, who left the show after last season, seemed to imply that he thinks DeGeneres is making the right move. "As I got to know Ellen, I grew to really, really like her," Cowell said in a statement to theHollywood Reporter. "I have huge respect for her because she's always been in control of her own destiny."

Ryan Seacrest also dished his two cents on the comedian's unexpected exit. The host took to Twitter on Thursday night with nothing but kind words for his colleague. "Spoke with ellen d tonight aka @‬. I will miss her on Idol. She's one of the kindest and most talented people in Hollywood," he tweeted.

On Thursday, Ellen announced her departure from the show in a statement she posted on her website. "It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for," she wrote. "I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on 'Idol' and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be."

'American Idol': Kara is reportedly out

The musical chairs at the judge's table of "American Idol" continue, as reports circulated Friday morning that Kara DioGuardi has been fired from the hit series.

TMZ reported that the songwriter/judge has been let go and follows Thursday's announcement from Fox that Ellen DeGeneres, who appeared for only a single season, has also departed the program. Meanwhile, Deadline.com identified actress/singer Jennifer Lopez as a judge when the show returns for its 10th season next year.

The reshuffling is far from over as the network scrambles to replace star judge Simon Cowell, who left the show in May amid great fanfare. Of the judges from last season, only Randy Jackson remains a judge on what is still America's most popular television series.

Huguette Clark Estate?

I am searching for the wiki article of Huguette Clark but it doesn't seem to exist.
Huguette M. Clark is the owner of the Clark Estate and I wanted more info about him.
Does anyone know about a website where I can read mister Huguette M. Clark's bio? Or a wiki article?

Montana Fishburne Revolutions: Laurence Fishburne daughter getting into Porn?

Montana Fishburne wants to be an actress...just not the kind that her father Laurence Fishburne is currently in.

On TMZ, they're reporting that Montana, daughter from Laurence's first marriage, is making a sex tape on purpose. From TMZ, ((TMZ has learned Montana Fishburne is starring in a porno flick for Vivid Entertainment -- explaining, "I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape." ))

You better believe Laurence is beyond pissed. Because I've listened to Dr. Drew a little bit too much, I think this a way to get back at her father for some reason. What better way to piss him off but to get into porn.

I also have to wonder if Brian Pumper had something to do with her new venture in Porn Alley. Supposedly, it was revealed that she's been secretly dating Mr. Pumper. Has this been confirmed?

Using sex tapes to get into acting or becoming famous aren't exactly the ways to get noticed and stay noticed. And, using Kim Kardashian as a career model isn't too smart, because Kim has nothing else to offer other than showing up to parties and reality shows. You'll get 15 minutes of fame, but that's about it. Hell, Paris Hilton's fame is starting to fade.

More wildfires hit California

The latest wildfire to hit Los Angeles County early Friday is known as Crown fire. It has affected some parts of Leona Valley, Ritter Ranch, Anaverde and Palmdale. Fire officials said that the fire has burned more than 5,000 acres. Hundreds of firefighters were trying to control the blaze and nearly 2000 residences had undergone “mandatory evacuations”.

Earlier this week, firefighters battled two wildfires that hit Southern California. The first fire known as the Bull Fire, hit the southeast part of Tehachapi. Authorities confirmed that the Bull Fire is now 12 percent contained and destroyed more than 16,000 acres. The second fire was in the northern part of Tehachapi in Sequoia National Forest and is known as the West Fire. It burned and destroyed 25 homes.

Rider’s Vision of Bigger Ramps Helps Launch Big Air

It started with some math and stolen lumber. Ten years later, and minus a spleen, Mat Hoffman’s pursuit of big air on his freestyle BMX bike led to a ramp the height of a two-story house that sent him flying more than 50 feet above an Oklahoma field in 2001.

A decade later, Hoffman’s supersize stunts have contributed to BMX and Skateboarding Big Air events at the X Games, which begin Thursday in Los Angeles.

“He was the first guy to do any sort of big ramp stuff,” the skateboard icon Tony Hawk said in the film “The Birth of Big Air,” which chronicles Hoffman’s quest. “Now we’ve got the whole Big Air event in the X Games, and that’s largely because of Mat ever trying it or ever dreaming of it.”

Hoffman’s backyard stunts might have been the birth. But the Big Air events on the 62-foot-high, 293-foot-long Mega Ramp demonstrate a maturation.

On Thursday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, competitors will start each judged run on their skateboards from an 80-foot roll-in that resembles a ski-jumping ramp and that will launch them over a 70-foot gap.

After landing, they zip up a 27-foot-high quarterpipe ramp that sends them soaring up to 50 feet above the ground, their height measured by a lighted tower that would look at home on the Las Vegas Strip. On Saturday, freestyle BMX competitors will take their turn at Big Air on the Mega Ramp.

“Hoffman kind of started the whole thing,” said Jake Brown, the 2009 winner of Skateboard Big Air. “He’s crazy.”

In 1999, Hoffman, known as Condor for his high-flying aerials, rode off a 3,500-foot cliff in Norway on his bike with a parachute strapped to his back. He has invented more than 100 tricks, and, for a decade, beginning in the 1980s, dominated competitive vertical riding.

Still, the credit and competitive spectacle surrounding Big Air come as something of a surprise to Hoffman, who is in Los Angeles this week to watch the Games with his family.

“I had no idea it would be a competition, because I never thought of it as a competition,” said Hoffman, 38, of Edmond, Okla., who participated in BMX Big Air in 2007. “I talked about doing demos as part of the first X Games, and people were like, ‘No, we can’t do that.’ It’s funny how it’s evolved in the last 10, 15 years. Now it’s become a prominent feature here.”

Cardinals-Tejada rumor has 'no traction'

According to Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a rumor linking the Cardinals and O's infielder Miguel Tejada has "no traction."

Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com wrote of the Cardinals' interest on Twitter Wednesday afternoon, but Goold talked to a source a few hours later and got a different story. Tejada has no place on a contending team like the Cards. Sure, they're lacking in quality middle infielders, but Tejada is no longer a viable option at shortstop and he has a .673 OPS this season in Baltimore. It's actually refreshing to hear that the Cardinals are not pursuing him.

Drew Carey Weight Loss

Drew Carey’s weight loss did more than drop 80 pounds from his once more than ample frame: it also eliminated his type 2 diabetes. According to the host of The Price Is Right, he told People “I’m not diabetic anymore. No medication needed.”

The secret to Drew Carey’s weight loss is nothing mysterious: he cut out carbohydrates (although he admits he cheated a few times) and eats lots of egg whites, fruit, and Greek yogurt. His one and only beverage is water, and he does lots of cardiovascular exercise, at least 45 minutes a day.

It’s been shown that if you are overweight and have type 2 diabetes, losing a significant amount of weight not only lowers your blood sugar and improves your overall health, it can also eliminate your diabetes and thus your need for diabetes medication. However, doctors warn that if you are diabetic and are engaged in a weight loss program, it’s important to work with your doctor because your blood sugar, insulin, and diabetes medications need to be monitored.

According to Cathy Nonas, MS, RD, a spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association, “No matter how heavy you are, you will significantly lower your blood sugar if you lose some weight.” In addition, “We see it all the time: people can get off their insulin and their medication.”

And that’s what happened to Drew Carey: his weight loss not only allowed him to get rid of his size 44 pants and slip into a size 33-34, it also let him get rid of his medications. He was quoted in a New York Daily Newsarticle, “Once I started dropping a couple pant sizes, then it was easy ‘cause once you see the results, then you don’t wanna stop.”

Drew Carey’s weight loss may inspire others to try losing weight the old-fashioned way: watching what you eat and exercising hard. Besides the possibility of eliminating type 2 diabetes, weight loss can also reduceblood pressure, lower your risk of heart disease, improve cholesterol levels, lighten stress on joints such as hips, knees, and ankles, and do wonders for your self-esteem.

Brett Wallace: More Astros & Blue Jays News

While the baseball fans across the major leagues have been watching the Astros and the Phillies to see what color uniform Roy Oswalt is going to be wearing, other players have made some big moves as well. For one, the Astros grabbed Anthony Gose and then almost immediately shipped him off to Toronto. That seemed to be ok with everyone as the Jays seem to be happy to have Gose. That move enabled Brett Wallace to join the Astros when the day was done.

He was originally traded from the Cardinals to the A’s and then the A’s sent him packing to Toronto in the off season. The first baseman is known for being a big hitter in the minors but his defensive play has bothered teams a bit. His defense was the reason why he moved from third base to first base. Moving from one corner of the diamond to the other shouldn’t make that much difference but obviously some managers think it does. Brett Wallace totes some hefty stats with twenty homeruns last year and eighteen this season.

The only problem anyone can find with this big minor league star is that he just hasn’t been a consistent hitter and his skills on first base aren’t the grandest either. Moreover, the park in Las Vegas is known as a hitters park so it may be tough for him when he makes the move to a larger park. No one should see the many moves this guy has made as unintentional especially considering the issues defensively. Brett Wallace could very well hit twenty home runs in the big leagues but in reality, that’s not that big of a deal anymore.

Would you ever garbage pick?

Today's Oprah show about frugal people across the nation included "freegans." I did a blog a few weeks back about freegans, people who basically dumpster dive for everything, including food. They're pretty political about the whole thing and take the stance that we over consume as a nation.

While I'm not willing to become a freegan, and while I don't go out of my way to pick up stuff off the side of the road, I have done it once or twice. Once I was passing someone who'd had a garage sale the day earlier and was tossing some of the stuff that didn't sell. One of the items was a perfectly good toddler booster seat that would run at a minimum of $40 at a store. I saw it, swooped it up, took it home and cleaned it up. I'm still using it to this day. I also found a good high chair once that I picked up for a friend.

I have friends that purposely troll around looking for "good stuff" thrown out to pick up.

What's the best free thing you've ever found on the side of the road?

Would you be willing to "garbage pick" something that you might be able to use or would you rather be caught dead?

Texas Rangers acquire Jorge Cantu from Florida

The Rangers have announced their acquisition of INF Jorge Cantu from Florida in exchange for minor league RHPs Evan Reed and Omar Poveda. The Rangers will also get cash from Florida to offset most of the $2.2 million remaining on Cantu's contract for the remainder of the year. While the club hasn't yet addressed how Cantu will be used, expect him to play first base the majority of the time. The decision for the team now is: Will it send down Chris Davis after two weeks back in the majors or will it give a long-term look to Mitch Moreland as a backup first baseman to be used mostly against right-handed pitching?

The Texas Rangers announced this afternoon that the club has acquired infielder Jorge Cantu and cash considerations from Florida in exchange for right-handed pitchers Omar Poveda and Evan Reed. Cantu (#9) is expected to join the Rangers for tomorrow's series opener in Anaheim. To make room on the 40-man roster for Cantu, the Rangers have recalled right-handed pitcher Brandon McCarthy from Oklahoma City (AAA) and placed him on the 60-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.

Cantu, 28, has batted .262 (98-374) with 10 home runs, 25 doubles, and 54 RBI in 97 games with Florida this season. He hit safely in his final 4 games with the Marlins, including going 2-for-4 with 2 runs scored in a start at third base in today's series finale at San Francisco. Cantu leads the Marlins in doubles and ranks tied for 2nd on the club in RBI with Hanley Ramirez, trailing only Dan Uggla (64). He has batted primarily cleanup for Florida this season. This is his 5th career season with at least 10 home runs.

The right-handed batter had at least one hit and one RBI in each of his first 10 games this season to establish a major league record at the start of a campaign, surpassing the previous mark of 8 straight games by Hall of Famer George "High Pockets" Kelly for the Giants in 1921. Cantu began the year with a career-best 17-game hit streak that ranks as the 3rd-longest in the National League in 2010.

Cantu has a pair of 20-homer seasons as well as two different 100-RBI campaigns. He has registered 40 doubles in 3 different seasons, including each of the past 2 years (2008-09) with Florida. Cantu has played primarily first and third base the past several years after seeing action at second base and third base over his first 3 big league seasons from 2004-06. He is a career .350 (14-40) hitter with 6 doubles and 9 RBI in 9 games at Rangers Ballpark.

The McAllen, Texas native has played for Tampa Bay (2004-07), Cincinnati (2007), and Florida (2008-10) in his big league career. He was originally signed by Tampa Bay as a non-drafted free agent in 1998. Cantu is a citizen of both the United States and Mexico, having been born in Texas before moving to Mexico when he was a week old.

Poveda, 22, has spent the entire season on the disabled list after having "Tommy John" ligament transplant surgery on his right elbow on March 3. The surgery was performed by Rangers team physician Dr. Keith Meister at the Medical Center of Arlington. He has been rehabbing at the club's facility in Surprise, Arizona. Poveda has been in major league spring training each of the last 2 years, but has just one career appearance above the Double-A level and has yet to see any action in the big leagues. He was originally signed by Texas as a non-drafted free agent in 2004.

Reed, 24, has spent the bulk of this season with Frisco (AA), appearing in one game with Oklahoma City (AAA), as he has combined to go 2-1 with a 1.76 ERA (8 ER/41.0 IP) and 5 saves in 31 relief appearances. In those outings, Reed has recorded 34 strikeouts against 13 walks, holding opponents to a .234 (36-154) average. Reed led all Texas minor leaguers with 25 saves in 2009. He was originally selected by the Rangers in the 3rd round of the 2007 June draft out of Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo.

Jersey Shore Season 2 Premiere

Jersey Shore season 2 premieres tonight (July 29). With premiere parties gathering across the nation, no one can wait to watch Snooki eat fried pickles and to see who hooks up this year. MTV has been airing re-runs all day long and it’s hard not to get the pre-Jersey Shore jitters.

“I am excited for people to see season two. It is 1,000 times more dramatic and just, overall, 1,000 times better than ‘Jersey Shore’ 1,” an enthusiastic JWoww told MTV News. “More drama, make-ups, breakups, fights, and everyone became really close as a family, so it’s just insane.” The cast is super excited for the premiere, as they take time from filming season 3.

“You’ve seen season one, you know what happens there!” The Situation said. “Season two is so much drama. There’s so much more hookups, make-ups, breakups, the whole nine, and you guys are definitely going to love season two. Sit back and relax! You guys can see how to party!”

Set your DVR’s if your not going to be at home at 10pm tonight, and if your going to be home, get your popcorn and friends in a room with a TV and soak in all the GTL and fist pumping you can get.

Miss Iowa Katherine Connors to throw first pitch to Batista

After Miguel Batista's remarks comparing Miss Universe against Miss Iowa Katherine Connors, it appears the two will meet.

"Katherine Connors today announced on Twitter she will throw out first pitch tomorrow at Nationals Park. Batista confirmed he'll catch it."

"'That will be nice,' Batista said. 'They're making a lot of news about it. Hopefully by the end of the day, when she goes back to Iowa, she says something good about us. Hopefully she says, 'Oh, he was a cool guy. He looked like a low-budget Vin Diesel, but he's nice.' Hopefully we're going to show her the best of Washington and she'll have a good time.'" reported the Washington Post.

Batista was booed at a game when fans expected someone else to pitch. "Imagine if you go to see Miss Universe, then you end up having to Miss Iowa, you might get those kind of boos," he said in another Washington Postpiece.

The remark did not set well with Connors. Batista sent her flowers to apologize. Now the two seem to be making the best of it.

Connors said she could pitch and walk down a run way in a swim suit. Batista admits he can only pitch.

While it appears the two have patched things up, this should be a reminder of the power of the tongue. James 3:8 says: "but no human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.

Hulk Hogan Dead

There have been several rumors that Hulk Hogan Died today. Earlier today, a rumour began stating that Hulk Hogan had drowned. But the person who started the rumour seemed to forgotten one thing that has been shoved down our throats for 30 years. Hulk Hogan is Immortal. Dixie Carter just posted the following on her Twitter… “HULK HOGAN IS ALIVE AND WELL. He did not drown. Not sure how these rumors get started. Awful.”

After all, Hulk Hogan has been everywhere and done everything in pro-wrestling. He was the face of professional wrestling in the 80s, stayed prominent in the 90s, finally left in the 00s, but has came back in the last 9 months to once more spread the Hulkamania germ.

Regardless of everyone’s opinion of Hulk Hogan, he has been here through it all and today could of been a sad day in pro wrestling. But, thankfully, all is ok and as long as Hogan still has a breathe in him the Hulkamania germ will be more deadly than the Spanish Flu.

Justin Bieber Smokes Weed

This was written by some dude who did 2 years for armed robbery, got it from another forum and found it really interesting.
Pretty sure he posted this on some 4chan board where they fuck with newbs by switching words like girlfriend, faggot, and contraband to sister, homieget, and contraphile... you'll see.

Here it is...

So I just got out of prison
...and fuck it if I've forgotten how to work a mouse and hit the submit button too soon.

Shit [sic] has changed. So many boards now. I don't know what the fuck is going on. Where do I start? Two years inside and it's like the whole world has changed. Just wanted a board where things stayed the same.

I don't even recognise half the dickgirls on /di/ anymore. Has the whole world grown tits while I was gone? And who the fuck if Justin Bieber?

Is. Is Justin Bieber. Lost my ability to spell. I get out and first thing I see is that little homie has a tattoo but I don't even know who the little homie is. My cable got cancelled while I was away so I can't even find out. Thank fuck for wireless internet, I swear to God it's faster now too. Seriously, it's like I've traveled through time. Fucking iPads look like shit out the future. Feel like I've missed a decade of shitty memes.

Keith Olbermann Mourns George Steinbrenner

Olbermann is a veteran of ESPN and Fox Sports, where he covered playoff baseball extensively. He says has known Steinbrenner since was 14, and first interviewed "The Boss" as far back as 1980. Olbermann's mother also became a part of baseball lore in 2000, when she was struck in the head by an errant throw from Yankees second baseman Chuck Knoblauch:

My favorite moment with George was also the saddest. By happenstance I was in the press box on the day in 2005 when President Clinton came to the Stadium to accept a check from Steinbrenner for the money the Yankees raised (there's the charitable instinct again) for tsunami relief. The two of them sent Yankees' president Randy Levine out to get me, and I was startled to spend two innings with them, saying almost nothing as George rolled out every single encounter we had had over the years ("I've known this young man since he was - how old were you? Thirteen? Fourteen? And he did the funniest piece on me firing managers for The Times and he was there when I broke down when we won at Shea five years ago, and this young man's mother was the one - How is your mother?")

As Olbermann noted, Steinbrenner's death has in some regards overshadowed tonight's MLB All Star Game in Anaheim. All three cable news channels have covered Steinbrenner's passing throughout the day, talking to former players and baseball historians.

Fox News has also been getting regular reports from correspondent Adam Housley in Anaheim. Housley is a former minor-leaguer in the Detroit Tigers and Milwaukee Brewers farm systems. He is in Anaheim because Fox Sports will be televising the All Star Game this evening.

Former 'James at 15' star Lance Kerwin sentenced

LIHUE, Hawaii — Former child TV star Lance Kerwin has been placed on five years probation after pleading guilty to a theft charge.
Kerwin, who played the title role in "James at 15" on NBC in the 1977-78 season, was given credit during last Thursday's sentencing for 90 days served and ordered to perform 300 hours of community service for the second-degree theft charge.
Kauai County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Lauren McDowell says the 49-year-old Kerwin was caught falsifying documents to obtain state medical assistance and food stamps.
Defense attorney Craig De Costa says when Kerwin applied for the benefits, he omitted in the application that he owned three properties on the mainland.
Kerwin, a pastor at Calvary Chapel in Kapaa and a U-Turn for Christ program leader, said he has already paid $21,822 in restitution.
"I'm sorry," Kerwin said before being sentenced. "The last thing I want to do is to make a statement to minimize what I have done."
Kerwin said his actions affected the community, his fellow church members and his children, and added he hoped his punishment can have a positive effect in his life.
His wife, Yvonne Kerwin, 28, requested a deferred acceptance of her guilty plea for second-degree theft and two counts of unsworn falsification to authorities. She left court with a record that will remain clean if she stays out of trouble with the law. She will also have to pay crime victim compensation fees and complete 300 hours of community service.
